The Bow, Calgary, Alberta
The Bow, future corporate headquarters for EnCana Corporation, is the first office tower of its kind in North America. Its signature design, as provided by Lord Norman Foster's internationally renowned architectural practice, Foster + Partners, firmly situates EnCana and Calgary, Alberta at the forefront of the global business arena that defines 21st century commerce.
Matthews Southwest Developments (MSW) is developing this landmark 58-storey tower, which is the first significant mixed-use development east of Centre Street in downtown Calgary, a vibrant city of over one million people.
Upon completion in 2011, The Bow will not only be a one-of-a-kind workplace experience for EnCana employees, but its distinctive arrival on the Calgary skyline also provides a new urban destination at its base for Calgarians and visitors.
MSW is coordinating the complex structural design behind the building's strong graphic sensibility. The firm has engaged some of the best construction and design practitioners from around the world, including the brightest local talent. In collaboration with its contracted partners, MSW is using progressive design and construction methods to build this striking Calgary icon.

The Tribute Development The Colony, Texas
Located on the shores of Lake Lewisville, The Tribute development is a 1,200 acre masterplanned community, in partnership with Wynne-Jackson, that will have a total of 1150 high-end, architecturally controlled single-family homes (ranging in price from $300,000 to $1.3 million),160 golf villas, 190 townhomes and 700 condominiums.
The development will include a 2nd-18 hole golf course, designed by Tripp Davis and Justin Leonard, with the goal of opening in the fall of 2008. This new course will compliment The Tribute Golf Links and Guest House, which was rated by Golf Digest as the number-one public golf course in the Dallas and as one of America's 100 greatest public golf courses, 2005-2006.
In addition to the golf courses, The Tribute development will have over 200 acres of open space, hike, bike and running trails, canals, 2 amenity centers a beach club and approximately 15 acres of landscaped, undulating berms and trails running through the heart of the development.

Matthews Southwest has continued its commitment to the Dallas area with the acquisition of this 1.2 million sq. ft. warehouse and distribution facility. Located on the south side of the downtown area, the ARW warehouse is situated on 53 acres, offers rail access and is ideally located within minutes from the I-30 and I-35 freeways. Viewed as a long term re-development project, the ARW warehouse location will play a significant role in the Trinity River Corridor Project.
