Joining Matthews Southwest eleven years ago; with over eighteen years of experience, Mr. Snell has worked as part of a management team to implement strategic growth by identifying viable business opportunities while at the same time maintaining effective cost management. Current development responsibilities include Project Lead for the 1.1 million square foot, $346 million Dallas Convention Center Hotel which consists of 1000 guestrooms and 80,000 square feet of meeting space. Prior to this, Mr. Snell was the Assistant Project Manager for The Bow, a 2.1 million square foot office development currently under construction in downtown Calgary, Alberta. This project will exceed $1.6 billion in total value and the highly qualified design team consists of over 150 consultants. Among other responsibilities, Mr. Snell currently oversees our master planned community known as South Side on Lamar consisting of, a 1.2 million square foot residential loft conversion project The Beat, a recently completed $17 million 75 unit condominium development and an additional 40 acres of future development, located in Dallas, Texas.
Mr. Snell has extensive experience in acquisitions, leasing, servicing, permitting and planning of large scale commercial and industrial land developments. His knowledge and experience in these areas have proven to be very beneficial to ensure all of our projects are delivered on time and on budget.
Prior to joining Matthews Southwest, Mr. Snell spent seven years in the commercial real estate business with Canada’s largest independent real estate broker.
