Richard Tucker is a master of construction, responsible for some of the largest high-profile developments in the world during the past 20 years including:
- Skydome in Toronto - the engineering marvel of its day,
- The 1,500,000 square foot Westferry Circus office complex part of the Canary Wharf development in London
Richard's formal education included stops at Lakefield College School where he was Top Engineering Student and won the Governor General's Medal and at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where he earned his degree in Architectural Design. Richard completed his formal education by obtaining an Master of Science in Business at the London School of Economics, where he was honoured as a Sloan Fellow.
Richard has overseen construction for projects totaling millions of square feet in Canada, the United States and England. He is an efficient manager who knows all aspects of project and development management.
Richard's greatest strength is his ability to grasp all facets of complex construction projects, understanding the project nuances from the consultants, contractor's, financiers, owner's and tenant's point of view. Once all points of view are understood Richard converts the knowledge into a cohesive development package which creates and maximizes value for all involved parties.
