At Matthews Southwest, we focus on creating projects of lasting excellence in a way that enhances neighborhoods and respects the surrounding environment. We strive to provide a legacy of socially responsible developments, recognizing the environmental, social and economic needs of the communities, involving them in developing appropriate and lasting solutions which create better places for people to live, work and enjoy. We believe our adaptive reuse properties are examples of sustainable real estate development because they make use of existing infrastructure and buildings while saving raw materials, conserving open space and reducing carbon emissions. Here are a few examples of what we’re doing and how we’re doing it.
