Description:

Matthews Southwest along with its partner, Tribal, recognized an unprecedented opportunity for industrial redevelopment in Toronto Portlands. In 2011, Tribal Castlepoint Kerbel Inc. purchased the former Cascade 16.5-acre L shaped site. The existing 500,000 SF building on the site was demolished and Tribal took the initiative to immediately remediate the entire site. In 2015, Tribal negotiated a design build, 25-year lease deal with FedEx Canada for an 80,000 SF courier facility on approximately five acres of land. FedEx took possession in December 2016.
